AREA GUIDE · UPPER ARMS

Aqualyx for upper arms: fullness or loose skin?

The underside of an arm, a loose fold and a tight sleeve can raise different questions. An assessment should separate local fullness from skin laxity before recommending treatment.

Describe what matters in everyday life

Explain where the concern sits and when you notice it: at rest, during movement or in clothing. An example image may help you explain a goal but cannot predict your result.

Ask what would happen to the skin

Do not assume a treatment discussed for fat will tighten skin. Ask which part of the concern is volume, which is skin and what would remain after treatment.

Mention previous procedures, scars and weight changes. New lumps, unusual swelling or pain need appropriate medical assessment rather than an online cosmetic diagnosis.

One plan, two arms, clear boundaries

If both arms concern you, confirm whether both are included in the assessment and quote. Ask which part of each upper arm is covered and whether a staged approach changes the cost.

Upper arms appear in VIVO’s Body service. Suitability and the proposed scope are assessed individually; no standard dose or session count is prescribed here.

Bring your work and exercise routine into the discussion

Discuss lifting, reaching, childcare, exercise and protective workwear. Ask for advice on those activities before deciding whether recovery fits your routine.

Keep the written instructions and clinical contact details. Ask which symptoms need an examination and how to obtain one.

Questions to ask about aftercare

A realistic goal and an individual quote

Agree a realistic goal and a review point. Photographs should use the same arm position; a particular sleeve size is not guaranteed.

The owner-approved minimum Aqualyx Body charge is £99 for an eligible area up to 125 cm², with £19.99 for each additional 25 cm² or part thereof. The £30 booking deposit is deducted from the total. A practitioner confirms suitability, actual scope and the final charge; surface area does not determine injection dosage. This is not automatically a two-arm package. The practitioner confirms the measured eligible area and final scope.

Check what the starting price covers

Your questions, answered

Will fat-dissolving treatment tighten my upper-arm skin?

That should not be assumed or promised. Ask for separate assessment of skin and volume, and a clear explanation of what the proposed procedure can and cannot address.

Can I go straight back to lifting at work?

The answer depends on your actual procedure and clinical advice. Discuss lifting and repetitive arm movement before treatment; this guide gives no automatic return-to-work time.

Is the £99 price for two arms?

The verified starting price is for the general Body service. A bilateral-arm scope and price must be confirmed individually.
