What the application stores
Privacy choices stores your selection under vivo-consent-v1 in this browser’s local storage. It contains a preference, not a name, medical record or booking identifier. It has no automatic expiry and can be removed by clearing site data.
The vivo-leeds-enquiry-seen-v1 sessionStorage flag remembers that the optional enquiry panel has already appeared or been opened. After a confirmed enquiry acceptance, vivo-leeds-enquiry-accepted-v1 prevents repeated contact forms during the same session. These flags contain only the value 1, no customer information or CRM identifiers, and clear with the browser session. Campaign attribution stays in memory; enquiry fields are never written to localStorage or sessionStorage.
The vivo-leeds-enquiry-unconfirmed-v1 sessionStorage flag pauses further form attempts when a submission has an uncertain outcome. It contains only the value 1 and no contact details. It is cleared when acceptance or a rejection before any CRM write is confirmed, or when the browser session ends. Direct Fresha and WhatsApp links remain available.
If a preference cannot be stored safely, optional measurement stays off. A sessionStorage flag named vivo-analytics-session-denied can hold an essential-only choice for the current browser session. Blocking storage does not block access to the website or its booking links.
Hosting and authentication
The protected staging environment uses Vercel Authentication. Its necessary authentication and security cookies allow authorised reviewers to reach the deployment and are managed by the hosting provider. The site’s Privacy choices button does not disable access control or remove the need to sign in.
Reviewer authentication is additional to the public website journey. External booking and messaging providers control their own cookies after you follow their links; this preference control only applies to this website.
Optional tracking remains off
No GA4, advertising pixel, GoHighLevel tracking or MessageMind browser integration is active. Accepting optional measurement does not connect those services. If tracking is introduced later, its provider, purpose and storage will be explained and a new choice offered.
The prepared analytics implementation requires publication approval, privacy and stream approval, explicit configuration and consent. You can continue with essential-only preferences. Booking and WhatsApp remain usable.
